Is the local governance framework really free?
The enforcement layer is, permanently — hooks, blocking, and institutional memory run locally at no cost and are not a trial. Lens review is tiered: the C-series code-quality lenses ship in the package, and the Experience, Business, ethics, governance, AI-safety, and Knowledge families are served to signed-in accounts. Nothing has shipped yet, so none of this is purchasable today.
What data leaves my machine?
Only metadata — violation signal codes, lens grades, session summaries, and timestamps. No code content, no prompt text, no file contents ever leave your machine. This is enforced at the hook layer before the payload is sent.
Can I use x-Arbiter without the cloud dashboard?
Absolutely. The framework runs entirely locally. The cloud dashboard is optional — it adds team visibility, trend analytics, and persistent session logs, but the local governance layer works independently.
Which AI agents does x-Arbiter support?
Any agent that writes files. The hooks fire on file write events, not on model API calls. Claude Code is the primary target, and signals work across Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, and local models run through Ollama.
What is the Team plan?
The Team plan lets 2–20 developers share one x-Arbiter Cloud workspace, priced per seat — all projects, analytics, and session logs visible to every member, plus shared institutional memory that compounds across the team. Larger deployments and compliance/ATO needs are served by the direct-licensed Project and Federal tiers. Exact figures are on the pricing page and are planned, not live yet.
How does billing work?
Individual and Team plans are monthly subscriptions via Stripe. Cancel any time from your billing page — your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation, then deleted. The direct-licensed Project and Federal tiers are annual contracts.
